Ikolodo likabafanyana (Amalomomnandi) interview

Ikidolo likabafanyana(Sipheyena Dongelihlen Shabalala) is one of the most loved Maskandi singers.He was born and raised in Mnambithi (Matazane) and he now located in JHB .He loved singing from his child wood and when he is doing grade 9 he started a sqathamiya group and that's when he recognised his music talent .He kept his group until 2009 when the late Mjikijelwa showed up in the music

 industry.

He deeply fell in love with the late Mjikijelwa music and automatically he found him self in love with Maskandi music as a whole .He then started writing his Maskandi songs and applied his all focus on maskandi music while he was  copying everything he does from the late maskandi hero Mjikijelwa ,He says even after his death, he will always copy from what he used to do.

2015 he then made his 1st demo ,2015 again he realised his 1st album with his group called Amalomomnandi tittled Utakalani okhonyayo, 2nd album was realised 2016 with Amalomomnandi again called impumelelo .3rth album was realised 2017 with his name Ikolodo Likabafanyana .Bafanyana is his gran father's name.His gran father used to sing and do praising poems ,He was a well known poet .So from his child wood the whole family believed he took his gran father's gift ,that is why he used his name.His next album will be realised towards December as Amalomomnandi and next year towards goodfriday ikilodo comes out again .

He thanks his Manager Celumusa Mtjali and his company Mantjinga family and music production for supporting and believing in his music and his talent .He says his music represents ushameni from Mnambithi side because shanemi is different ,He says he love all Maskandi artists and he do not believe in fighting like other artists do ,yes as a young strong man you always have to prove your power when with other strong men ,Therefor that little politic will be always there ,but no to war ,and it should only be done onstage or studio 

He ask event organisers specially the big events to give him a chance to show them what he really capable of, He noticed everywhere he performs people loves him. so he ask for a chance in the big events and he promise them that next time they will not live him behind. He also asked the Maskandi followers to buy original music and listen to new artist as well because even the big artists started as Amavukane .He asked broadcasters to play all music just fair and lastly he asked artist to stop insulting each other because that destroys the music industry

kolodo invites everyone to come see a miracle he will be performing on the 8th of September 2018 at Allies park arena on SCN MASKANDI FEST .He promise to do something bigger than him and unforgettable 1.
