Mandla Zuma known as mgqilazi wedixa is one of the most popular young maskandi musicians in the country ,He was born and raised at Hluhluwe (manzobomvu)This young man managed to attract thousands of followers with his 1st album which was realised last year(2017) tittled "inkosi yamavukane" .His music is loved and followed by all maskandi fans, irrespective of the colours and the politic in the music industry. He noticed his singing talent during his school days where they had a group singing and dancing tradition songs .He then noticed his talent then he started a sqathamiya group that was competing with other schools ,His group used to take trophies all the time its competing.He went on with the group until there was a live competition at Hluhluwe  where new artists were competing live.There were big guys competing as well but he still won the competition and everyone was surprised that he is also a problem in the maskandi music because they knew him with uqothoza ,There was an old man there and that old man said"this young man is really a punisher(umgqilazi) today i name him Mgqilazi(punisher)" So from from that time he was then called mgqilazi .He explained more about his name, He said because many people call them selves mgqilazi as well ,He then had to add something(wedixa) to his name so its easy to identify or differentiate it from others.For those who turn his name and use it to their interest ,he says he is not part of it  and he will never be part of it ,his name is just an honest name ,he do not have any bad intentions about it.

He humbly asked the maskandi followers to fully understand the politic in the music industry that its actually not a war, but its a game of power in singing and composing ,It it normal for young mans when are gathered together they Will fight each other just to prove who is the strongest warrior but that never got personal ,they fight for that moment and it all end there ,So he asked the maskandi fans not to take it personal because it creates real war in the music industry, The ugly words and a bit of arguments they hear in their songs is part of the game and it does not mean he or they hate that particular artist .he says if you loved a song from a different artist be honest and say it openly because its a game .never be scared or ashamed to admit if another artist did well .So as an artist he want Maskandi followers to know everything he does he doing it for them but he do not encourage violent(phansi ngodlame)

mgqilazi saluted isilo somaskandi (DSd) Neyinyoni Ezimacola ,He saluted King Khuzani and the blue nation ,He Saluted King Duyazi and the red nation ,He saluted King Potso and nezika lime .Lastly he saluted all Maskandi heroes and asked them to groom and guide them as they are still new in the music industry .he love them all and he respect them as well . he ask all artists to obey and respect maskandi followers

He give a million thanks to the broad casters and the event organisers for promoting and standing up tall for their music no matter what . They are who they are today because of them.he ask event organisers in future to let the warriors who have beef to each other to challenge each other live on stage so that everyone knows who is the best .

Ikidolo likabafanyana(Sipheyena Dongelihlen Shabalala) is one of the most loved Maskandi singers.He was born and raised in Mnambithi (Matazane) and he now located in JHB .He loved singing from his child wood and when he is doing grade 9 he started a sqathamiya group and that's when he recognised his music talent .He kept his group until 2009 when the late Mjikijelwa showed up in the music  industry.
